Respected Sir/Madam, My communication is in reference to the Masters Program in Healthcare Technology at your esteemed institute. The field of healthcare is witnessing radical transition over the past two decades. One of such transition is the implementation of health Information technology and telemedicine across clinical settings. The domain of e-health has interested me throughout my academics. I am eager to explore the implementation and use of e-health in complex healthcare organizations. The Master's program would provide a learning opportunity for creating sustainable e-health systems and services. Moreover, the Master's program would also help to understand the implementation of these systems across dispersed healthcare organizations. My interests in the field of e-health stemmed from my domiciliary and professional background. I was born and brought up in Bangladesh and have been working in Maldives since 2014. I have observed that the quality of healthcare in the remote locations of both countries is quite low. In Maldives different e-health initiatives have been implemented for extending safe and quality healthcare across remote locations. Initiatives like installation of robust of surveillance systems, health insurance portal and Hospital Information systems are being implemented in Maldives.
