Relations between the United States and Japan

INTRODUCTION AND MAIN IDEAS

To introduce relations between the United States and Japan we will begin explaining a series of factors that affect political relations between the two throughout history.

The influence of World War II on these relationships

World War II has influenced these relationships since it has gradually determined them. Pearl Harbor’s event was an important victory for the Japanese since for Americans it was a catastrophic defeat, leaving thousands of injured, many dead and enough maritime media destroyed. Later the events of Hiroshima and Nagasaki was an overwhelming and very hard defeat for the Japanese since they destroyed their main and majority economy that were the industries and main weapons factories, but the Americans also suffered many casualties despite being winners.

But, in addition to these moments throughout history we have to highlight another remarkable and influential historical moment within the same story that is the Gulf War that which passes between the years 1930-1931 since it was a fundamental moment in development in the developmentof those relationships.

For the United States, the challenge tried to organize an extensive international coalition protected by the UN and for Japan consisted of how to observe how they were recomposing being under the fruits of Yoshida doctrine.

With the triumph of the Americans, the United States increased their fame becoming the only civil-military power in the world and criticized Japan for their shortage of production and development.

This Gulf War is intended to show or illustrate is that cooked cooperation between the two countries both the United States and Japan and make a novel proposal regarding the topic of protection. The murder of Saddam Hussein was necessary since it had 70% of all the Middle East and that was not beneficial for the Japanese. Japan because they demanded that they be recognized much more in that international globe.

When World War II ends in 1945, the Japanese government had no resources or instruments, that is, they had left them with nothing and could not collaborate with other states in the international order and therefore the United States government decidesthat takes over Japan.

But, despite these friction and conflicts over the years, both the Americans and the Japanese have learned that the use of weapons results in the event of the Hiroshima and Nagasaki bombs by the Americans and the Americans havelearned that veteran teaches them that every conflict must be reduced since if that is not done, wars are produced in the international order.

In summary, both must learn from the same mistakes and also from the mistakes of the other since thus a learning and complete understanding of historical conflicts occurs.

Mutual Security and Cooperation Treaty between Japan and the United States in 1960

This treaty signed by the two countries has several sections that we will develop below:

This particular treaty is of a disparate nature since while the United States got the duty to help the protection of Japan, because with Japan the opposite occurred since it did not obtain that obligation to cooperate to the defense of the United States, but neither could it accept thiscommitment since its political constitution did not let him accept those militia duties externally. But this character was compensated with the use of barracks in the Japanese nation.

The nature of ambivalent by the two countries about the objectives of the alliance that for some Americans is to promote the peaceful impulses of the Japanese and others in resting the use of Japanese power to help in the cold war. And the Japanese considered it as an instrument to re -update the Japanese armed forces.

This pact between the two countries found little cooperation at both Pacific edges because in the 80s and 90s of the twentieth century, there were few politicians who praise it due to their lack of free decisions, but implanted by the United States. There was a passion for public opinion and the elaboration of an institution just like NATO.

Both the United States and Japan thought that help in a different way since the United States was distressed by the east-west stabilization and Japan thought that the pact was like an option to get economic income and removed Japan from international struggles since if they were involvedWell, it would affect its national defense.

The apathy of Japan on issues especially of defense was the option of making a monumental desImports mostly of products.

There was great instability between the economic aspect or scope and security during the period that continued to the Pacific conflict, specifically in the field of technology since the United States made huge transactions, choosing for the export of finished foods, but Japan would collaborateIn the assembly and later the co -production, to be part of it. And helped the creation and technological development of the Japanese nation. In the United States they saw that the Japanese despite their help got very few technological achievements.

This concrete pact between the United States and Japan was not supported to its greater extent by military pacts between the two nations that supported it and so on the 80s that these two countries had not been done in the 80s.

The reports between these two countries caused serious conflicts among them. Later, the security subcommittee that congregated high -position leaders to deal with these security issues is elaborated. But, as this treaty aimed to help Japan’s defense as the balance of the Middle East, this second aspect generated concern among Japanese workers since they were scared by the work of the Japanese bases by the Americans who could cause them problems. The North American leaders were aim.

As we can see in the illustration we have we see a senior president of the Japanese government in which he is in a meeting in the United States to carry out the signing of the treaty between these two countries that contributes to the security of Asia.

Relationships between the US. UU. And Japan today

We can currently affirm that there is no suspicion between the United States and Japan after the conflicts suffered throughout history. Both countries have managed to overcome and understand their political differences and as a result of this have been able to cooperate in a correct way to be today a great alliance. In addition, both countries have common ideals of economic progress that unites them, we can consider both countries as world powers.

However, in recent years, political relations between the two countries have been harmed due to the Japanese increase in their economic influence and subsequent commercial competence. Japan is currently an example to continue for other countries due to its great ability to grow commercially, although new generations do not want to be known as massive merchants. It is worth mentioning that Japan has been supported by the United States in foreign policy and also a large part of the population and conservative political parties suggest the follow -up of US policies to continue growing quickly and efficiently.

The current president of the United States Donald Trump indicates that this time Japan has won the commercial war and is in a situation of progress greater than the American. But, nevertheless, Trump relies on working in the right way to encourage business success in his country and be able to reach Japan economically.

As of 2018, President Donald Trump and Japan Prime Minister Shinzo Abe have filed conversations to set aside their differences and to prosper through cooperation. "Trump and Abe sign a joint statement in which they announced the start of negotiations, of a commercial agreement on goods and services, which can produce achievements soon".

During the negotiation, the United States proposes to invest in the car industry to increase production and give greater job. On the other hand, Japan asks Trump to respect natural resources.

It is difficult to foresee the future of political alliances between the two countries, but what is clear is that both have common interests and that the best way to grow is to make agreements through cooperation between them. In addition, they must work to reduce the mass growth of the Chinese economy and be among all more equitable.

However, China is not the main fear of both countries

CONCLUSION AND CRITICAL JUDGMENT

For all these reasons, we can conclude that in an alliance in which there are several countries, several factors must predominate so that this cooperation between states is fulfilled and for these foreign relations with other countries and those factors that we talk about because they are mutual respect because they are mutual respectOf all countries, the participation of all states present in that alliance or pact, economic, social, humanitarian, commercial aid, that is, of all kinds between states since a state needs the help of other countries because those countriesThey have to collaborate with each other to favor that cooperation between states and those would be the fundamental factors in any interstate pact whose main objective is to guarantee the state of being social.

Now we go with the argumentation part. Well, we agree with the idea of common participation of all states and all these humanitarian institutions such as UN, UNICEF, WHO, NATO and many others since without that characteristic in an alliance you cannot reachagreements that interest the other countries.

In addition to all this, as for that resentment that the Japanese felt at that time during that historical moment we think that there is no discomfort among the Japanese currently because over time those wounds and pending scars have been cured for many years and we believe that thatThey have precisely forgetting over time.

These relationships think that they will go better over time if the two countries collaborate with each other and there are no important serious conflicts that can determine or influence these relations so we hope it does not happen in the coming years and in the future not verynear.

We believe that today they have stopped comparing themselves financially and this is a really positive factor since this leads to cooperation between them and in the opposite case would lead to a war of thrones to see who has more power, without considering the big problems thanYou can carry with it the rejection of goods or services from the enemy country.
