Power, a human condition
As the documentary shows, at present, the human condition is marked by greed, this part of the personality of many people being. This manifests when you take more than one needs, when a person does not feel satisfied and wishes to appropriate everything possible and the more he has, the more he wants to have;Losing the true meaning of life, the true richness of it, forming this vicious circle of which it does not escape easily, the greed being the drug of this modern society, of this materialistic society.
The question that results from it is why does the human being think that he never has enough? Personally, I consider that the human being tries to fill interior voids with material things, permanently pressing with this desire to have everything, prioritizing the feeling of lack when the desired one is not obtained;Given this, the constant need to highlight among others also influences, which we call ego. For my part, I consider that the ego is not bad to some extent, since this helps us to be better in our daily activities, in addition, to consider goals or objectives and do them with dedication;However, in most cases the ego comes to dominate people in its entirety, believing these superiors and owners of the truth, making people superb, and creating in them a mask that needs the approval and flattery ofothers;indirectly this ego shows the lack of self – esteem of a person who needs to project an ideal image so that no one sees the insecurities he keeps inside.
"The end justifies the means". I refer to this phrase, since it agrees that greed and ego always hold power in an unbridled way and resorting to any means to achieve the goal;This is how greed, it is presented as the excessive eagerness of wealth or people, resorting to illicit or criminal behaviors, which go against law;Being clear example political corruption, the act of bribing, the abuse of power of any kind, the scam, which are enshrined in most states, generating disloyalty and betrayal among citizens. These behaviors also demonstrate that it is money that moves the world, feeling attracted to him, since it generates pleasure, wealth, status and power.
In addition, another fundamental aspect to highlight, is the way in which the human being resorts to achieve everything he wants. Since time ago the human being has submitted his own species to exploitation, oppression and submission directly or indirectly, to achieve his objectives;It has also harmed its environment, threatening the environment and the species that subsist in it. This is how it is concluded that our species destroys itself, by deceiving and not thinking about others, the common good.
Another point out of the documentary, is happiness, which I consider to arrive at unexpected moments of life, which must be taken advantage of, as if it were the last day of our existence;However, reality shows us the existence of personal, economic problems, health, which is inevitable, for them we should not aspire to be happy;Only enjoy the moments in which we share with people, which cannot be purchased with money, and not wasting them because sometimes when they leave they no longer return.
The human being is aware of the consequences of his actions, but despite this, he does not do the right thing, therefore, we are responsible for our own extinction;However, we are also responsible for changing this society, to break this vicious circle, where materialism predominates and where others are not thought;This based on the constant formation of moral principles and values, predominantly empathymoney and fortune, since we get to the world with nothing, and we will leave with nothing of it. Finally, I kept the phrase of the Greenlandic shaman "only if we manage to melt the ice of our hearts we will have the opportunity to change".
