Hunting as a human practice from prehistory

Hunting is the activity or action in which a domestic or wild animal is captured and kills. Human beings have practiced hunting since prehistory being the main occupation of men, which was necessary for their survival and protection. Prehistoric ancestors based their diet in hunting, collection of plants, wild fruits and fishing, currently man has developed new food production methods, improving primitive hunting techniques. However, over time, man has hunt the hunting by paths different from his origins, which was for his subsistence, so that today it is considered a sport accepted by society, which can become disturbing and unscrupulous, committing acts of abuse against mostly wild animals. The hunting being a survival system in prehistory, currently man has transformed it into an inhuman animal abuse massacre.

One of the ways in which society exploits wildlife is through indiscriminate hunting of native animals of a habitat, reducing the population density of the species chosen for being considered as a hunting trophy and raising the hunter’s egoTo be recognized as the best (Brancatelli & Yezzi, 2017, P.two). As the main example we have the Jaguar of the Amazon who is mentioned by Richard Connell in his literary work the most dangerous game.

In a given area when the demand for animals has decreased Sánchez, Alonso, Prieto, González, & Gaudioso, (2009) mention, “that the production of species in captivity is carried out in order to provide different varieties of animal species tohunters, which are released at a certain age so that they can be hunted ”(P.170). These types of procedures cause an ethological change in the animal, that is, in an unknown habitat its behavior and instinct of survival is affected and this faces unknown dangers can even die due to lack of food or other hazards before complying beforeThe objective for which it was created.

Hunting as a sport is considered as a hobby that causes pleasure in the hunter, develops and forges his personality and establishes a relationship with the animal he wants, however, at the end of the day with or without the death of the animal, he always stays withThe enigma of dissatisfied desire, forcing him to look for new challenges. (Zulaika, 1992) Example, in reading it is mentioned that General Zaroff not to leave the hunt and meet his needs was forced to create a new animal and began hunting human beings.

In conclusion, hunting is considered an obsolete activity in a world where food does not depend on this activity, and goes against current values such as;Animal well -being and animal ethics, in the same way it does not perseve.
