In the given case, MK is an African-American lady who is seventy years old. The patient was experiencing episodes of confusion and dizziness despite in the past been diagnosed with hypertension, chronic renal failure, asthma, type II diabetes, breast cancer. The age of the patient is quite advanced making her prone to different forms of illnesses. The gender of MK is also a factor that is likely to have triggered or accelerated the illness. Being a female, MK had undergone a C - section that made her vulnerable to those conditions. The ethnicity of MK is also another factor that is likely to have contributed to the worsening of the condition (Sidani, 2011).
