I have heard that New York University has one of the best Biology departments in the world. Biology has always fascinated me since I was a young child. I have been interested in how life and death work in this world. I love to pick things apart to find out how they lived and died. My current university is quite small when compared to New York University. Your program looks to be quite extensive. I love that there is plenty of choices to expand my knowledge in Biology. I feel I will have more opportunities to expand my knowledge base with the choice of the six programs you are currently offering. They all look interesting and exciting, especially the Evolution, Ecology and Environmental and the Computational Biology programs. I feel to can learn and grow at a nominal pace. I know I have plans to eventually become a forensic scientist and eventually work as a criminalist. My current studies have barely scratched the surface of what I need to know to make that dream a vivid reality. New York University has many more opportunities to me to learn and grow, than where I am currently enrolled. I have never been to New York City but know I can fit in nicely because I am a very motivated student. I love to learn new facts about how life and death function in regards to science and biology. I am an avid reader and a talented user of computer science to assist in my personal experiments in biology techniques. My grade point average is above average because I have a real desire to achieve the most honors before I graduate. I also wish to apply for the Bio DUGS undergraduate program.
