Name: Instructor: Course Title: Date: Scholarship Application Essay The decision to apply for a Masters in Business Administration partly comes from the experience I have attained while working in large organizations across India. The request for the scholarship position at the Nanyang MBA program additionally comes from the realization that my undergraduate education, plus the workplace experience I have attained, are not sufficient to meet my professional ambitions. I am currently 28 years with a family and financially unable to meet both the tuition fee and allied expenses as stipulated in the Nanyang MBA program. Achievement and Accomplishments There is a range of milestones I have achieved while in college and immediately after the undergraduate studies. These include but are not limited to; I was the house captain and the class representative while in college. I proactively participated in a plethora of extra-curriculum activities such as sports and music. I studied mechanical engineering in one of the top higher learning institutions in India Odisha and graduated among the top 10% in my class. I was the winner of a regional level Mathematics Contest christened Mathematics Olympiad that was organized and managed by the Chotanagpur Mathematical Society. Other than the above-mentioned milestones, there is a range of accomplishments I attained as part of my professional experience while working in organizations and institutions across India. I worked in an engineering firm as an operations and maintenance engineer after the undergraduate studies.
