The most common means through which cyberbullying occurs are the internet, communication devices, and social platforms. This paper provides an annotated bibliography of credible and reliable sources on cyberbullying. Bauman, S. (2015). Developmental Factors in Cyberbullying. Cyberbullying, 71-83 Sheri Bauman explains how various factors develop and culminate to cyberbullying. Cyberbullying is a prevalent vice amongst young people. Most people develop a liking for technology and social media at a young age. Due to increased usage of technology, youngsters may find themselves being victims of cyberbullying. Lack of parental guidance is also a factor that largely contributes to cyberbullying. Most parents pay little attention to how their children spend their time online. Lack of interest may cause youngsters to be either victims or perpetrators of cyberbullying. Bauman also argues that failure to take immediate action against culprits is a factor that encourages cyber bullies. Bauman’s point of view will be instrumental in my research paper since it shows some of the factors that encourage cyberbullying. Sheri Bauman is a renowned professor at the University of Arizona.
