Purgatory

Song I:

The beginning of this second part of the divine comedy introduces us to Dante invoking the muses;asking Caliope to help him resurface his poem from the dead kingdom of hell. They introduce us to a relieved dante of being out of hell and seeing the sky, ‘the soft tone of oriental sapphire’, finally once again. Looking back to the North Pole, Dante sees a constellation that tells him the time of day, but before he can calculate it in the exact minute, an old man distracts him. Song II:

Suddenly, the whole host of heaven joins prayer, including Beatriz.
