Name: Professor: Course: Date: Human Trafficking Human trafficking has been a global issue for decades. It has various forms such as sex slavery, forced labor and employment, and many others. Indeed, the victims of human trading suffers trauma and distress that they do not know what to do. The challenge of the government, indeed, is conspicuous since the pressure of the public to scrutinize and end the barbaric form of slavery is necessary. Despite the economic, political, and social pressures of the world today, the United States government takes a firm stand to end human trafficking at all costs. The United States government should find ways to end human trafficking. One reporter from The New York Times recorded the statements of the State Department that “China became one among the world’s vilest lawbreakers for permitting modern captivity to bourgeon within its boundaries” (Harris 1). As the State Department released reports, that human trafficking existed in many countries such as Democratic Republic of Congo, the Republic of Congo, and many others in which the prosecutions for human trading took account of trafficking of women and children for sex, enforced work, domestic slavery; and illegal use of juvenile combatants (Harris 1). Harris asserted then that Trump régime headed by Ivanka Trump wished to finish human trafficking by prioritizing policies to abolish any forms of slavery. Hence, the United States government sought to exterminate human traffickers.
