Alternative energy: A benefit to the environment
All of the governments of countries around the world have an interest in alternative energy, especially because there is recently an emphasis on the importance of environmental protection. Many Spanish -speaking countries are good places for using different sources of alternative energy because of their natural resources. In my opinion, it is more beneficial to use renewable because they are cleaner sources for the environment and would be more profitable over time.
Alternative energy is already popular in many places and many people want it. Many places in Latin America and the Caribbean have large water sources. According to data from the Latin American Energy Organization, in 2017, 55% of Electric Power. Also, in Spain, photovoltaic energy is becoming popular. According to an article by El País, in 2018, people settled 261.7 MW of new power, 94% more than in 2017. In Spain, people and their self-consumption of solar honeycombs are creating this increase. Now, in the cause of the reduction of the cost of solar honeycombs, more self-consumption facilities have built. A self-consumption installation is a building where electricity occurs, 90% of the new energy in Spain is an installation like that.
Renewables are the best long -term profitable solution. Many countries in the world are going in the routing of renewables by energy sources because they know that fossil energy is bad for earth. In an age when electricity is necessary to participate in the world, we need to find a way to produce a lot of electricity with less effects. The digitalization of hydroelectric plants would do the easiest operation and maintenance, so hydroelectricity creates a low -cost renewable energy. Also, in Spain the costs for using photovoltaic energy have fallen. Therefore, more solar honeycombs can be used.
Although, there are many alternative energy benefits, there are risks or challenges too. Hydroelectric projects have risks with their construction that environmental impact, especially close to cities. For example, construction debris are not good for the environment. According to El País, in Spain, self-consumption has had administrative obstacles and loads imposed from the central administration. However, in the cause of the interest of the people, a new regulation is expected in May.
In conclusion, alternative energy is better for the environment and finance of countries. In my opinion, it is more beneficial to use renewable sources, because it is cleaner to the environment and would be more profitable over time.
